Just over 40 years ago the storm over the Green’s Harbour United Church rages in Green’s Harbour and The Trident, a publication of the Newfoundland Labrador Historic Trust, thought it was important enough to make their cover story. Nita March wrote the piece.

We are looking for someone to help us out for 7 weeks this summer at $10.75 per hour for 35 hours a week.
The right person can work with minimal supervision and get the work done.
The right person enjoys working outside …. cutting grass, clearing brush, some painting. On rainy days, the person needs to be able to research family names and the settlement of the community…. because in only 4 years we will be 185 years old!
The right person is in highschool… or just finishing… and will be attending either highschool or post secondary school in the fall.
Outside work will take place in the old UC cemetery on the main road, in front of the UC Church and at the ARCH Centre (old Orange Lodge building).
